Two Races, One Bonus: €5,000 Kwiff Supercharged Series Finale Set for Showdown at The Curragh

The stage is set for a dramatic finale to the inaugural Kwiff Supercharged Series tomorrow at The Curragh, where two final handicaps will decide which stable team takes home a €5,000 bonus.

The series, created in partnership between Kwiff and The Curragh Racecourse, has delivered fierce competition since it’s launch during Juddmonte Irish Oaks weekend. With strong support from across the industry and a variety of different trainers winning races along the way, the contest has captured the imagination of smaller yards and grassroots trainers, giving them vital visibility on one of Irish racing’s most prestigious stages.

Leaderboard Heading Into the Final Day

With two races still to be run, McGuinness leads the standings, but Denis Hogan, Pat Flynn, and Eddie Lynam are all within striking distance. A cluster of five trainers on 10 points keeps the series wide open, and with declarations confirmed for Saturday, it’s all to play for.

Putting Stable Staff in the Spotlight

At the heart of the Kwiff Supercharged Series is recognition for the sport’s unsung heroes. The €5,000 bonus goes directly to the winning yard’s stable staff, rewarding the dedication, care, and commitment that underpin every runner on the track.

Kwiff spokesperson Jack Milner commented:

“We’ve been delighted with the interest and entries for the Kwiff Supercharged Series. It’s been fantastic to see such strong industry support and a mix of different trainers winning races throughout the competition. Nezeh, a winner of the last race in the series last Saturday at The Curragh, could potentially land a €5,000 bonus for the Hogan yard when dropping back to the minimum trip for the Supercharged Series finale at the weekend.”

Industry Impact

Beyond the leaderboard, the series has reinforced its value as a competitive platform for lower-rated handicappers and smaller trainers. It has highlighted the depth of Irish racing talent while celebrating those who often operate outside the spotlight.

Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager at The Curragh, added:

“The partnership with Kwiff has created an excellent opportunity to celebrate all contributors to Irish racing. From established yards to small trainers and, most importantly, the staff who put in the daily hard work, the Supercharged Series has been a tremendous success. With two races still to go, Saturday’s finale promises to deliver a thrilling conclusion.”

A Supercharged Finale Awaits

With two races remaining and a packed leaderboard, Saturday’s finale promises high drama on and off the track. Whether it is McGuinness consolidating his lead, Hogan closing the gap, or one of the chasing pack pulling off a late charge, the outcome will decide not only the first Kwiff Supercharged Series champions but also the stable team who share in a fantastic €5,000 prize.
