Royal Ascot winners Gstaad and True Love are among the six runners for the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes taking place at the Curragh this Saturday. Trainer Aidan O’Brien has also declared Puerto Rico for the Group 1 contest, which has drawn additional contenders including recent Prix Robert Papin winner Green Sense, Power Blue trained by Adrian Murray and Do Bronxs trained in Britain by David Loughnane.
Group 1 winning sprinter Kind of Blue is one of 15 runners for the FBD Hotels and Resorts Phoenix Sprint. In addition, the strong British trained challenge includes Art Power, Spycatcher and Nighteyes. The home trained team features Bucanero Fuerte, Babouche, King Cuan, My Mate Alfie, Vespertilio, Lady of the Lamp and Black Forza.
The competitive eight race programme kicks off with opening Revamp Conservation and Restoration Maiden with 10 runners, there is a full field of 30 runners in the Audi Naas Maiden, 11 in the Grand Hotel Malahide Fillies Juvenile Race, 10 in the Neville Homes Handicap, 18 in the Kwiff Handicap over 6 furlongs and 12 in the Kwiff Handicap over one mile.
