The Curragh set for finale of 2025
The 2025 flat racing season draws to a close this Sunday at The Curragh with a packed eight race programme.
It is hoped that the newly crowned champion jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle will have returned from the Breeders Cup to be presented with his trophy, while the Champion Apprentice title is still too close to call with the winner likely to be decided on the final day.
The Comer Group International Loughbrown Stakes is the final feature race with the Group 3 contest attracting fourteen entries including Queenstown, Uxmal and Chally Chute.
There are twenty four entries in the valuable Finale Stakes, most notably Ballet Slippers, Crystal Black, Fleur De Chine, Navy Waters, Starford and Island Hopping.
The competitive Finlay Volvo Mile has attracted twenty five entries with leading contenders including Coeur D’Or, Orandi, State Actor, Genuine Article and Dark Viper.
The Curragh will also present their leading Training and Riding Performances of the year awards with the public invited to vote from the six nominees in both categories – Click HERE to vote.
