This exciting series running over four Saturdays concludes with the Pat Smullen Race Day in aid of Cancer Trials Ireland on Saturday 31st August.

The Pat Smullen Race Day at the Curragh on Saturday 31st August is very close to the hearts of the Irish Racing Community.  In addition to an exciting race card, this unique race day includes a host of events and activities to raise funds for Cancer Trials Ireland, the leading cancer research trials organisation in Ireland.  The day will also include the second running of the Pat Smullen Charity Race. The Curragh To Curragh Charity Cycle

The Curragh To Curragh Charity Cycle, previously known as Coast To Curragh, in aid of Cancer Trials Ireland will take place on Saturday Aug 31st as part of The Pat Smullen Race Day. The cycle will start and finish at the Curragh racecourse (100km in total) visiting 3 racecourses and 2 Stud Farms. Cyclists can choose to join in at any of the racecourse or stud farms, allowing you to cycle from 12km / 25km / 30km / 55km or 100km.

Cyclists will receive tickets for themselves and 2 friends to attend the races at the Curragh that day.

Starting time: 10 am at the Curragh racecourse (lots of parking provided) – Please be ready for 9:30am to take part in the pre-event photos.

Full Distance: 100km

Route: The Curragh racecourse – Prosperous – Kilcock – Moyglare Stud (stop) – Maynooth – Straffan – Sallins – Naas racecourse (stop) – Punchestown racecourse – Gilltown Stud (stop) – Curragh racecourse (final stop).
