Hawk Mountain and A Boy Named Susie are set to renew their rivalry in Sunday’s featured Group 3 Newbridge Silverware Royal Whip Stakes at The Curragh, with the pair having finished second and third respectively behind Constitution River in the recent Group 1 Eclipse Stakes.
Thirteen contenders remain in the historic contest, which dates back to 1821, following this morning’s entry stage.
Among those still engaged are 2025 Juddmonte Irish Oaks runner-up Wemighttakedlongway, along with Starford, Beset, the Ger Lyons-trained Diego El Queso, Andy Oliver’s Apercu and Jack Davison’s Rebel Ascendant.
The card also features the Listed William Hill Juvenile Sprint, with Star Prospect, Grayrobin, Brazilian Dive and New Bond Street among those remaining in contention.
