A total of 94 runners will line up for day 2 of the August Summer Series at the Curragh this Sunday 16th August
The featured Newbridge Silverware Royal Whip Stakes has attracted a small but select field, with the Donnacha O’Brien-trained A Boy Named Susie set to take on four rivals in the historic Group 3 contest. Cowardofthecounty and Omni Man represent Joseph O’Brien, while the Aidan O’Brien-trained Charles Fort and Jack Davison-trained Rebel Ascendant complete the line-up.
Star Prospect, Grayrobin, Brazilian Diva, Concorde Landed and New Bond Street are among the ten runners in the Listed William Hill Juvenile Sprint, while there are nine runners in the opening Irish Stallion Farms Nursery, 19 in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series, 16 in the Melbourne Cup Carnival Handicap, 11 in the Velo, Official Coffee Partner, Maiden, 12 in the Tote Guarantee Never Beaten by SP Handicap and 12 in the Bet with the Tote Racing and Sports Handicap which will bring the eight race programme to a close.
