The Curragh will Race into Easter this Friday with a packed program of eight races featuring the Irish EBF Park Express Stakes.
The €100,000 Group 3 contest has attracted 13 fillies and mares including the Ger Lyons trained Faiyum, a lightly race daughter of Frankel who landed a Group 3 race at Gowran Park last year. Other notable contenders including Princess Child, California Dreamer, Cataline Delcarpio, Celestial Orbit, Bubble Gum, Moments of Joy and Love Dynasty trained in Britain by Kevin Ryan.
Norwalk Havoc, Starford and Easywatch head the 25 entries for the valuable 1xBet Emerald Cup. The €100,000 contest has also attracted Cowardofthecounty, recent Nua Heathcare Irish Lincolnshire winner Ribee, Perry Mason, Mocking, Kizlyar and Coeur D’Or.
Aidan O’Brien is likely to be well represented in the opening Curragh On Course Bookmakers Supporting Free Admission Maiden with 5 entries including Captain James Cook, New Yorker and West of Eden, while Robson De Aguiar has four entries most notably Force Noir, who was runner up on the opening day of the season.
Recent Naas winner Oh Cecilia is one of 17 entries in the 1xBet Sprint, where there are 22 entries in the 1xBet Mile including Iron Fist and Genuine Article.
The beautifully bred Pendulum (Dubawi x So Wonderful) and Canary Island (Dubawi x Rhododendron) feature among the 14 entries in the 1x Bet Easter Maiden and there are 16 entries in the Irish Stallion Farms Maiden.
Emit, Happy Pharoah, Dallas Star and A Piece of Heaven are among the ten entries in the 1xBet Stayers Race.
