The Curragh has announced that Sherry FitzGerald Country Homes has agreed to extend their race sponsorship for the fifth successive year. They will support the Ladies Derby for the first time this year.
The Sherry FitzGerald Country Homes Ladies Derby will take place on Day 2 of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival on Saturday 28th June, which features the Group 1 Paddy Power Pretty Polly Stakes.
The €30,000 contest over the Irish Derby track of 12 furlongs is one of the most prestigious races for professional and amateur female jockeys in Europe
Last year their race was won the Ger Lyons trained Apricot Ice owned by Ballygallon Stud in County Kilkenny, who hosted the launch of the 2025 sponsorship.
