9 runners confirmed for the tote.ie Alleged Stakes

A high-quality field will line up in the tote.ie Alleged Stakes which is the feature of an eight-race programme at the Curragh this Saturday.

White Birch, who finished third in the Epsom Derby last year, is one of nine runners in the Group 3 contest, while other notable contenders include 2022 Beresford Stakes winner Crypto Force, Mashhoor winner of the Group 3 International Stakes, Village Voice, a Group 3 winner in France, Group 3 winner Greenland and Layfayette, who landed the Group 3 Fitzdares Royal Whip Stakes last year.

A total of 6 two-year-olds will line up in the opening Nando Parrado at the Irish National Stud Maiden, there are 12 runners confirmed for the Download the New Tote App Maiden, 16 in the Visit the Irish National Stud and Gardens Maiden, 8 in the Tote Never Beaten by SP Handicap, 17 in the Tote Now Online at tote.ie Handicap, while there are 10 confirmed starters in the Hytech EQ Ultra Handicap.

Following 3.5mm overnight of rain the ground on both tracks is now Heavy.

Forecast for 10 to 15mm between now and end of racing with winds strengthening Friday afternoon through Saturday. We will monitor the situation going forward.
