LADIES DERBY

KILBOY ESTATE STAKES (GROUP 2)

This fillies only event was established in 2004 and has been supported by its founding sponsor since then. It was promoted from Listed level to Group 3 status in 2011 and since 2013 it has been run as a Group 2. Alexander Tango (2007), Tannery (2012), Dank (2013) and Magical (2018) have all won this race en route to subsequent Group/Grade 1 success.

THE ROMANISED MINSTREL STAKES (GROUP 2)

The Minstrel Stakes has been run at the Curragh since 1991. From 1996 onwards it has held Group 3 status and inn 2001 it was cut back to its present distance of seven furlongs. Since 2007 it has been open to horses aged three years and older and since 2016 the race has held Group 2 status.
