Owners, Trainers and Stable Staff

Owners may order guest badges as per the AIR allocation and ordered by 12 noon the day before racing for all race days bar Sunday which is 4pm Friday

through the HRI Ownership Website.

·         Upon arrival all sole owners, syndicate and club members as well as owner’s guests should go to the AIR Booth located to the left of the turnstiles.

·         The Tattersalls Owners & Trainers Lounge is located on level 1 of the grandstand. 

·         Complimentary Owner dining (4 Vouchers per Ownership) is available in the Tattersalls Owners Restaurant (on your left immediately inside the turnstiles) for 30 minutes sittings each.

·         Discounted St. Leger Restaurant and Oaks Restaurant rates apply to Owners with runners this weekend, please note that bookings must be confirmed by 5pm on Wednesday (tomorrow). Contact Paul Keane or Joanne Hyland (045 – 445205) [email protected]

Owners complimentary car parking in Area A (blue car park) adjacent to the main entrance by showing the dated car park label AIR below to the parking attendant.

Parking is on a first come first served basis. Additional parking Area B/D (Yellow car park)

Owners & Trainers Lounge
All owners with a runner, their guests, syndicate and club members have access to the Owners & Trainers Lounge located on level 1 of the Grandstand. A valid Owners & Trainers Swing Badge is required to gain access. A light food menu is available.

Owners Complimentary Dining
Complimentary dining, comprising of a main course, tea or coffee is available in Tattersalls Owners Restaurant, which is immediately to your left inside the turnstiles.

A single owner, partnership or syndicate with a runner (s) on a race day will be entitled to four complimentary meals, irrespective of how many runners on the day.

Tables are available for a 30-minute sitting in order to accommodate all owners during the day. When the weather is fine, additional seating will be available immediately outside.

Owners & Trainers Grandstand Seating
Reserved seating for owners and trainers is located on the upper tier of the grandstand, closest to the parade ring and is clearly signposted.


Winning Connections

All winning owners will be accompanied by a member of the Curragh team to the historic Queen’s Room for a complimentary glass of Taittinger champagne and to watch a replay of the race. Winning connections will be posted a recording of their race and a souvenir photo after each fixture.

All races offer a prize awarded to the groom who looks after the horse judged to be best turned out.  In many races, the grooms in charge of the winning horse will also receive a prize.

The Curragh also provide additional prizes to the winning groom of the Best Turned Out prize for every race at the Curragh and each winner will receive free entry into an end of season draw.

The Curragh Stable Staff Canteen is generously sponsored by Moyglare Stud. Stable staff receive a compliementary hot meal and drink when they bring a horse racing to the Curragh.

For all Group 1 races grooms names are printed in the racecard.

Sponsors regularly gift of merchandise to the grooms of their races. This is frequently in the form of hats, jackets or gilets.

For overseas based runners, should you require a stable for a companion horse, please let us know as soon as possible as stables are allocated at time of declaration. If available we will facilitate this.
