Self-isolations restrictions is now arrive with a negative PCR and self-isolate for 5 day and on day 5 get retested then on production of another negative test (results take 24-48 hours) they will be able to attend.

In line with the latest government guidance, we regret that we are unable to welcome owners to attend at this time. We are grateful for your continued support despite the current circumstances and look forward to welcoming owners when it is safe to do so.

This will include a link to avail of a complimentary race day service provide by Racing TV.
All winning owners will receive a memento, photograph and recording of the race from The Curragh and race sponsor.
TRAINERS
All trainers must register to attend with the races by logging onto http://www.ihrb.ie/health-screening and follow instructions.
Parking
Situated in Car Park 2 which is within close proximity of the entrance and screening area.
Overseas based runners
We very much welcome to the prospect of having overseas trained runners compete during our 2021 season.
Due to the ongoing Covid 19 crisis, the current Irish Government’s protocols state that all people including trainers and their staff visiting Ireland must self-restrict for 14 days upon arrival in Ireland.
The best option in the current circumstances is to send your horse to Ireland to be looked after by an Irish based trainer based at the Curragh. We have a list of a number of trainers who are willing to accommodate overseas trained horses. The Curragh will cover all relevant costs. Please contact Ciara Doyle or Evan Arkwright for details.
If you require a stable for a companion horse, please let us know as soon as possible as stables are allocated at time of declarations. If available we will facilitate this.
STABLE STAFF
All members of stable staff attending the races must register to attend with the races by logging onto http://www.ihrb.ie/health-screening and following instructions.
All races offer a prize awarded to the groom who looks after the horse judged to be best turned out. In many races, the grooms in charge of the winning horse will also receive a prize.
The Curragh and TRM also provide additional prizes to the winning groom of the Best Turned Out prize for every race at the Curragh and each winner will receive free entry into an end of season draw.
Our Stable Staff canteen is closed due to current Covid 10 protocols, but all stable staff are entitled to a complimentary lunch bag generously sponsored by Moyglare Stud
