Willie Mullins targets Friends of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch
Trainer Willie Mullins is well represented among the entries for the Friends of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch, which were published today. Europe’s most valuable handicap takes place on Sunday 24th September and features fourteen of the total eighty entries from the champion trainer who is strongly targeting the €600,000 contest over two miles. These include Absurde, Jackfinbar and Scaramanga, together with Echoes of Rain and Lot of Joy who finished second and third in the race last year.
Aidan O’Brien, who landed the race with an inspired ride from Wayne Lordan aboard Waterville last year has make eight entries including Tower of London, Peking Opera, and Library.
