The Curragh is delighted to announce the nominees for their annual Racing Awards 2021, in association with Tipperary Crystal.
Six Awards will be presented during the final race day of the Curragh season on Tuesday 26th October, with the public invited to vote on the winners of the Leading Training and Leading Riding Performances of the season via the racecourse’s website at https://www.curragh.ie/awards featuring video footage of all the nominees. Voting is open until 8pm on Sunday 24th October.
Awards will also be presented to the Leading Jockey and Trainer of the season by number of winners and two Awards will be made to honour “Special Achievements” during 2021.
Evan Arkwright, Chief Executive (interim) of The Curragh commented, “2021 has been a very good season for the racecourse and although there have been many challenges, the quality of racing and the opportunity to welcome back racegoers again has been hugely positive. The Curragh Awards allows us to acknowledge the outstanding achievements on the track this season and presents an opportunity for the public to be involved and therefore I hope plenty of people will take the time to vote for the winners from the impressive list of nominees.”
