Stable Staff Recognition for Longines Irish Champions Weekend at The Curragh

Moyglare Stud will very generously present significant cash prizes for both the Moyglare Stud Stakes and Moyglare Jewels Blandford Stakes.

The grooms in charge of the top 3 best turned out horses in the Moyglare Jewels Blandford Stakes will receive €200 cash prizes, while the groom in charge of the winner and the stable of the winning trainer will each receive €500.

In the Moyglare Stud Stakes, there will also be significant cash prizes awarded to the grooms in charge of the horses judged to be best turned out, 2nd best turned out and 3rd best turned out of € 500, €350 euro and €200 euro respectively.  €500 euro will also be awarded to groom in charge of winner and to the stable of winning trainer.

All grooms with runners in the Comer Group International Irish St Leger will receive a presentation with the groom in charge of the horse judged to be best turned out receiving €500, the second €400 and €300 euro, while all other grooms will receive €100. The groom in charge of the winner will also receive €500

There will also be very generous prizes for the grooms in charge of the best turned out for all other races, courtesy of race sponsors Derrinstown Stud, Goffs, Irish European Breeders Fund and Tattersalls Ireland.

All grooms in charge of best turned out winners will continue to receive a TRM goody bag and jacket which is presented for every race day in 2020.

All stable staff working on race days will continue to receive a complementary lunch bag courtesy of Moyglare Stud and The Curragh, who have sponsored this initiative for the remainder of the Curragh season.
