The O’Brien family will have a very strong representation in the two feature races at the Curragh this Saturday.
Hans Andersen and Aesop’s Fables will represent Aidan O’Brien in the Galileo Irish EBF Futurity Stakes, while son Donnacha will run his recent Tyros Stakes winner Proud and Regal. Joseph O’Brien has two runners Apache Outlaw and Lakota Seven in the Group 2 contest, while Jim Bolger runs Young Ireland and Semblance of Order will represent Andy Oliver.
The unbeaten Aidan O’Brien trained Meditate heads the entries for the Alpha Centauri Debutante Stakes, with stable companion Maybe Just Maybe also among the seven runners for the Group 2 contest, who also include Gan Teorainn trained by Jim Bolger, Thornbrook trained by Joseph O’Brien and Olivia Maralda trained by Michael O’Callaghan.
There are 15 runners in the Join Racing TV for €12 Maiden, 10 in the Neville O’Byrne Memorial Irish EBF Handicap, 22 runners in the Sheehy Motors Skoda Maiden, 16 runners in the William Fry Neville O’Byrne Tribute Maiden, 23 runners in the AK Bets Compare Our Prices Handicap and 9 in the opening Coolmore Arizona EBF Maiden
