The inaugural running of the Quinnbet three-race handicap series was won by trainer Martin Hassett who holds a restricted licence and is based Killenaule Co. Tipperary.
Martin Hassett, who saddled the winner of the first race in the series commented: “We are thrilled to have won the series and would like to extend our thanks to Quinnbet. It’s a great initiative and we will certainly be targeting the series next year. We have a small family run operation here and it has given the team a great boost”

Following a successful start to the Quinnbet three-race handicap series at The Curragh Racecourse this season, it has been announced that the partnership will be extended for a second year. With a similar format the series will see an increase from three to six races at The Curragh in 2024.
