LOVE set to star at Curragh this Saturday

Multiple Group 1 and Classic winner LOVE features among the 20 entries in the Holden Plant Rental Alleged Stakes, following the publication of entries for the Curragh’s second meeting of 2021 taking place this Saturday, 17th April.

Baron Samedi is also set to make his seasonal debut in the Group 3 contest having won five times for trainer Joseph O’Brien last year, including the Group 2 Prix du Conseil de Paris.  Recent Naas Listed winner Broome, together with Innisfree, Armory, Bowerman and Up Helly Aa are other notable entries.

There are 18 entries in the TRI Gladness Stakes including last year’s winner of the race Lancaster House, whose stable companion Lope Y Fernandez is another significant entry in the Group 3 contest over 7 furlongs. The race has also attracted the Johnny Murtagh trained Know It All, who finished a very creditable fourth behind her stable companion Champers Elysees in the Group 1 Matron Stakes last year.  Other notable entries feature Lustown Baba, Speak In Colours, Harpocrates and Surrounding, while Snapraetera is the only three year old remaining among the entries.

Recent winners Cadamosto and Missing Matron are among the twelve two year olds entered in the Irish Stallions Farms EBF Race.
