Leading stayers target Sky Bet Race to the Ebor Handicap at The Curragh
Barbados, Pondus and Sunchart are three of the leading contenders for the Sky Bet Race to the Ebor Handicap, the feature of a competitive programme of racing at The Curragh this Wednesday. Other leading contenders for the €40,000 contest include Shoshone Warrior, Camphor, Bold Approach and Chiricahua. The winner will receive an automatic entry into the very valuable Sky Bet Ebor Handicap at York taking place in August.
Sonaiyla, Lustown Baba, Thunder Beauty and Frenetic are among the 23 entries in the Group 3 Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Renaissance Stakes.
The Sky Bet Orby Stakes has attracted 26 entries including older horses Patrick Sarsfield, Bowerman, Thunder Kiss and Raise You, while the three year old crop is represented in the race by Snapraeterea, O’Reilly, Nicest The Mediterranean, Eaglefield, Lough Derg, Agrimony, Ontario and Arturo Toscanini.
Steel Bull is one of 12 entries in the Sky Bet Junefest Handicap. An additional 8th race has been added to the programme with entries closing tomorrow at 12 noon.
