The inaugural High Spirits & Food Festival will take place over the weekend of 23rd and 24th September at the Curragh Racecourse.
This brand-new festival will run alongside a packed program of racing featuring the Goffs Million on Saturday and “Friends of the Curragh” Irish Cesarewitch on Sunday. The weekend will provide a real feast for the senses by combining the thrill of racing with a superb culinary experience. An exciting addition to racegoers to enjoy over both days.
The Curragh Racecourse will be transformed into a foodie heaven and with thousands of racegoers being offered the chance to try delicious food from a range of vendors such as Khalil’s Kitchen, offering Middle Eastern Street food, to Barberstown Castle who will be showcasing their renowned Seafood Chowder. . Food trucks will be parked trackside while drinks vendors will be located inside Champions Hall. Racegoers will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy their food in a picnic/festival atmosphere.
As well as great food and fabulous racing, the High Spirits and Food Festival will see live performances from the likes of Newbridge Gospel Choir, NITETRAIN and the Havana Trio while over in the Moyglare KidsZone there will be free entertainment for the junior racegoers.

Gates will open at 11:30am with the first race off at 1.20pm on both days

The Curragh offer a FREE shuttle bus service from Newbridge, picking up at the train station and outside Eddie Rockets on the Main Street and from Kildare, picking up at the train station and in the Square at the bus stop
