FREE ADMISSION TO CELEBRATE THE FINALE OF THE IRISH FLAT RACING SEASON AT THE CURRAGH ON NOVEMBER 5TH
The Curragh Racecourse is offering FREE admission to all racegoers on Sunday 5th November to celebrate the final day of the 2023 Irish flat racing season.
Admission to this 8-race card will be free for everyone and racegoers will be able to enjoy action on the track as well as a range of family entertainment off it. The feature race is the Group 3 Comer Group International Loughbrown Stakes. The day will also see the Horse Racing Ireland Flat Championship Awards taking place to celebrate the crowning of this season’s champions. It is perhaps fitting that on November 5th after the 5th race, we will see Colin Keane crowned Irish Champion Jockey for the 5th time!
In addition to a high quality eight race programme, attractions on the day will include the Moyglare Kids Zone with free activities throughout the afternoon for younger racegoers including Junior Einsteins, Imagination Station and Face Painting. All activities will take place indoors.
The Curragh’s Chief Executive Brian Kavanagh commented:
“We are delighted to host the final fixture of the Irish flat racing season and as a gesture of thanks to all those who have supported us throughout the year, we will be offering free admission to everyone on the day. It has been a flat season to savour with many standout performances on the track including Classic winners Paddington, Tahiyra, Auguste Rodin, Savethelastdance and Eldar Eldarov. We look forward to another wonderful day at the track to complete a fantastic season for The Curragh”.
Ahead of the 5th of November, the Curragh have launched the voting for the Curragh Riding and Training performances of 2023 in conjunction with Racing TV. Voting will close on Wednesday 1st November at midnight. Please see our nominees for the 2023 Curragh Riding and Training Performances HERE
The Curragh will be proudly supporting Movember on the 5th November. The racecourse invites everyone to join in and help to raise awareness for men’s mental health.
