The first entry stage for both the Tattersalls Irish 1000 and 2000 Guineas closed on Wednesday 25th September.

Europe’s highest rated two year old Pinatubo is among a total of 94 entries in the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas and one of 32 trained in Britain.  Other notable entries in the 400,000 euro Group 1 contest include Mogul, Mums Tipple, Palace Pier, Al Madhar and the unbeaten Siskin.

The Roger Charlton trained Quadrilateral, currently favourite for the 2020 English 1000 Guineas, is one of 97 fillies entered in the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas, of which 25 are trained in Britain.  Cayenne Pepper, Raffle Prize, Alpine Star, Etoile, Powerful Breeze and recent Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Love also feature among the entries.

The 2nd entry stage for both races is 8th April 2020.

Both races take centre stage during the Curragh Spring Festival on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2020
