Broome attempts to give Aidan O’Brien 6th win in Alleged Stakes this Saturday

Recent Naas Listed race winner Broome will attempt to give trainer Aidan O’Brien his sixth win in the Holden Plant Rental Alleged Stakes, following this morning’s publication of declared runners for the Curragh’s second meeting of 2021 taking place this Saturday, 17th April. The Group 3 contest has attracted  a total of 10 runners who also include Bowerman, King of Comedy, Numerian, Njord, Thundering Nights and Up Helly Aa.

There are 12 runners in the TRI Equestrian Gladness Stakes including last year’s winner of the race Lancaster House. The Group 3 contest has also attracted the Johnny Murtagh trained Know It All, who finished a very creditable fourth behind her stable companion Champers Elysees in the Group 1 Matron Stakes last year.  Other notable runners include Lustown Baba, Speak In Colours, Surrounding and Current Option, while the Tom Dascombe trained Brad The Brief is the sole British trained runner.

Recent winners Cadamosto and Missing Matron are among the six  two year olds who will line up in the Irish Stallions Farms EBF Race.
