Today, leading online bookmaker Betway has announced the latest addition to their horse racing portfolio in an agreement that sees them become the Betting Partner of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival at The Curragh.


The valuable partnership includes six sponsored races over the two-day festival that takes place on the weekend of May 22 and 23.

The company have previously supported Irish racing with sponsorships at Punchestown, Cork and Galway. This will be their first exposure at the County Kildare racecourse.

The Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival is one of the most prestigious weekends in the racing calendar. The top class programme over both days attracts both extensive national and international coverage.

About the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival at The Curragh

The Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival featuring the first two classic races of the Irish flat racing season on 22nd and 23rd May with the 100th running of the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas on Saturday, while the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas takes place on Sunday.

A packed program of high quality and competitive races also features the Group 2 Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes and Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes on Day 1 together with the Group 3 Heider Family Stable Gallinule Stakes and Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup on Day 2, with the weekend further enhanced by Betway adding their name to multiple races over both days.
