Albigna set for Snow Fairy Stakes this Friday
Albigna is set to line up in the Snow Fairy Stakes at The Curragh this Friday. The Jessica Harrington trained filly, who landed the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac last year, is one of 26 entries currently in contention for the Group 3 contest. Declared runners will be published on Wednesday.
Other notable entries include Hamariyna, Laburnum, So Wonderful, Thundering Nights, Lovelier and recent Leopardstown Maiden winner Federica Sophia.
The Paddy Power Irish Cambridgeshire features 31 entries with top weight Bowerman set to represent trainer Adrian McGuinness, who also has Saltonstall and Sirjack Thomas among his strong team in what promises to be one of the most competitive races of the season.
Jassaar winner of the race last year, together with Fame and Acclaim, Keats, Njord and Flaming Moon are also among the entries for the valuable contest over one mile.
Chief Little Hawk, winner of yesterday’s Irish EBF Ballyhane Stakes, is expected to make a quick reappearance in the Heider Family Stables Round Tower Stakes. The Aidan O’Brien trained two year old is one of 13 entries in the Group 3 contest, that also include Coill Avon, Mahaaseel, Sloane Peterson and Teresa Mendoza, together with Sweet Gardenia and St Mark’s Basilica, who both won last weekend at Naas and The Curragh respectively.
Emaniya, Nicest and Meala are among the 14 entries in the Group 3 Kilcarn Stud Flame of Tara Stakes.
