Adrian McGuinness is set to attempt to win the Paddy Power Irish Lincolnshire for the second successive year having entered a strong team of four in the first feature race of the new flat season taking place at the Curragh on Sunday 21st March.
The County Dublin based trainer won the race with Bowerman in 2020 and his team is headed by Current Option this year, who progressed throughout last season winning three times including the Group 3 Concorde Stakes in Tipperary.
Entries for the €90,000 contest closed yesterday and they also feature Laughifwant, winner of the Paddy Power Irish Cambridgeshire in 2020 and Broad Street trained by Luke Comer was finished third in the Paddy Power Irish Lincolnshire last year, while Dance Jupiter and Band of Outlaws are two of five entries from trainer Joseph O’Brien.
The Ger Lyons trained Roca Roma, Quizical trained by Sheila Lavery, the Jessica Harrington trained Onlyhuman, Teed Up trained by Ken Condon and Mirann trained by Johnny Murtagh are other notable entries in the ultra competitive one mile race.
