Confirmed runners were published this morning for Day 2 of Juddmonte Irish Oaks Weekend this Sunday and feature 11 runners who will line up for the valuable Romanised Minstrel Stakes with Tarawa, Lord Massusus, Cosmic Vega, Power Under me and Rare Appeal among the notable contenders in the Group 2 contest
Moon De Vega, Cadeau Belle and Village Voice feature among the 8 runners in the Michael John Kennedy Memorial Stakes with the Group 3 contest also attracting Goldana, Cigamia, Jackie Oh, Keep In Touch and Lambada
9 runners will face the starter in the Ryans Cleaning Services Handicap, 18 in the La Celia Wines Dash, 11 in the QuinnBet Maiden , 12 in the Irish Stallion Farms Fillies Handicap and 10 in the Cavalor Equine Nutrition EBF Fillies Maiden which is the opening race.
Runners for tomorrow Saturday were published yesterday, with the featured Juddmonte Irish Oaks attracting eight fillies. Epsom Oaks runner up Savethelastdance and Warm Heart winner of the prestigious Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot lead a strong team trained by Aidan O’Brien, who will also be represented by Library and Be Happy. Other contenders include Ribblesdale Stakes runner up Lumiere Rock who represents Joseph O’Brien, Azazat trained by Dermot Weld and Comhra trained by Jim Bolger, while the Ralph Beckett trained Bluestocking is the sole British trained runner and will carry the colours of the race sponsor Juddmonte.
