There are four Group 1 races on the nine-race card and pride of place goes to the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, the final Irish Classic of the season.

The historic Curragh is home to all five Irish Classic races and is the venue for the second day of Longines Irish Champions Weekend on Sunday, September 15th 2019.

Enjoy a fantastic day top-class racing, fashion and live music. The racecourse has been completely redeveloped and now rivals the best sporting destinations in the world. Treat your taste buds to a day of food and beverages at the new-look Curragh and enjoy our Artisan Food Village featuring some of County Kildare’s leading food producers.

Irish Champions Weekend Thoroughbred Trails

Add adventure to your day and book our popular Thoroughbred Trail. The trail brings you an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes at many of the leading training yards and stud farms around the world-famous Curragh. The weekend will be action packed with the focus on showcasing Ireland as a world centre of excellence for horse racing and breeding. There are also other Day 2 ticket types available, such as Adult, Senior, Student, Thoroughbred Trail and Hospitality. Children U18 are free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Early bird tickets are now available.

The St. Leger Restaurant - €295.00 pp

Situated on the top floor of the new Curragh grandstand, the St. Leger restaurant offers 3-course A la carte fine dining in the most stunning location Irish racing has to offer overlooking the race track and surrounding countryside. The St. Leger restaurant dining experience has received universal praise from guests and it is the ultimate VIP hospitality experience at a height of 20 meters above the racecourse. St. Leger bookings include reserved car parking and access to level 2 grandstand seating.

The Oaks Restaurant  €255.00 pp

For a vibrant atmosphere in a great location look no further than the Oaks Restaurant on level 2. Restaurant guests will enjoy 3-course A la carte dining in a bright, elegant room with the added bonus of a reserved balcony overlooking the parade ring and Champagne Terrace below. The Oaks Restaurant is at the heart of the new grandstand and provides easy access to level 2 terrace seating to enjoy the races and it is just a few steps away from all public areas of the racecourse.

The Curragh Bundle - €40 pp

The Curragh Bundle is an ideal purchase for groups that includes admission, race cards, a €10 food voucher and a €5 drink voucher. Vouchers can be redeemed in the Champions Hall servery or the Garden Plaza. The Curragh Bundle must be purchased in advance and cannot be purchased on the day.
