Race-meetings at the moment are mixed outdoor events with access to indoor spaces, but with proof of a vaccine required for those consuming food and beverage indoors. No walk-up tickets will be available on the day. We ask that you do not attend the racecourse without a valid ticket and ID as you will be refused entry.
No, there will be no ticket collection facility on the day. Each attendee must bring their own ticket with them. This can be printed or a digital version for scanning.
Unfortunately not, all tickets must be used by the purchaser who has completed the Covid regulations form at the time of purchase. Tickets are strictly non-transferable.
If brining a child under 12 you can purchase a free child's ticket when purchasing your adults tickets. 12-17 year old's tickets cost €5 and again can be purchased when pruchasing an adult ticket. All children must have a child ticket issued in advance to gain entry and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Parking is free at The Curragh. Parking will be clearly signposted around the racecourse.
Accessible carparking spaces will be available at each meeting. We encourage those requiring accessible parking to contact the racecourse in advance on 045-441205.
Please enter through the main entrance with your ticket and photo ID. Each person may be temperature checked on arrival and their name will be checked against the ticket details.
We ask that you wear your face mask at all times under current guidelines, unless you are seated for eating and drinking purposes.
All attendees will need to review the code of conduct when purchasing their ticket to ensure safety for all. You must provide a valid Photo Identification to match the name on your ticket on arrival before being admitted. No photo I.D. will result in no admittance.
A digital race card will be available on our website from the day before each race meeting. A printed Race Card will also be provided to each person who purchased an adult ticket.
Yes, Food and Beverage facilities will be available around the racecourse and will be operating cashless. A full site map on the locations of food providers is available below. Be aware that requirements for physical distancing and reduced facilities may lead to increased queuing times for amenities. A limited amount of indoor bar/lounge seating will be open to the public on a first come basis. To enter these spaces, you MUST present a valid Digital Covid Vaccination Cert with the name matching you photo I.D. to be scanned at the entry point.
No, The Curragh Racecourse asks that you do not bring your own food and beverages on site. This includes alcohol and picnics. Please be aware there will be bag searches in operation at the point of entry.
Yes, alcohol can be purchased by over 18’s only. Alcohol must be ordered and consumed whilst seated and this will be strictly enforced. We ask for your co-operation on this.

Yes, there will be a limited number of bookmakers on the course. There will also be Tote available. Tote will accept both card and cash on the day and will be making payments in cash.
Due to COVID-19 transmission risks The Curragh will not be providing a shuttle bus service. Private transport is preferred. Ample parking is available. Please see our car parking map for further information.
We offer a range of facilities to assist racegoers in maintaining high hygiene levels and social distancing, including hand sanitation stations, regular sanitation of touch points and welfare facilities, suitably spaced furniture, one-way systems, and signage. Social distancing will be supported by The Curragh Racecourse staff and Security on each day. Designated COVID Compliance Officers will be located throughout the site to monitor compliance and provide assistance. Under the current plans, we ask you to read our Code of Conduct, which all attendees must agree to. If you have any concerns on the day, we ask you to speak to a member of staff whilst keeping a safe social distance and have a great day at the races!
No, you do not have to be fully vaccinated to attend. You will need to be fully vaccinated to avail of indoor dining and be able to provide your Covid cert upon entry.
