The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby race will take place in 2013 on Saturday evening 29th June. The contest with €1.25m in total prize money will feature an eight race programme. This year marks the sixth year of Dubai Duty Free’s sponsorship of the festival and the world’s leading airport retailer will once again sponsor the prestigious Most Stylish Lady competition on the Saturday, in association with luxury jeweler Boodles.

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby is the center piece of the three day festival featuring the Derby Food Paddock which takes place from Friday 28th June to Sunday 30th June and NEW this year we are featuring our Derby Music Village on Saturday 29th June with live bands and DJ all day from 1pm.

Derby Food Paddock

Fri 28th June – Sun 30th June

The Derby Food Village makes a welcome return to this year’s Derby Festival, showcasing a selection of delicacies from Ireland’s leading food producers including restaurants, hotels, cookery schools, cheese makers, bakers and chocolatiers. Free to all, the Derby Food Village is located in the heart of the action beside the parade ring and is an exciting addition to the festival giving all race goers the opportunity to taste a spectacular variety of food.

Derby Music Village

Saturday 29th June

A fantastic new edition this year is our Derby Music Village located towards the endof the grandstand. Live music from a variety of bands from 1pm till 10pm making it not just Derby Day but Derby Night and all FREE with your admission ticket. Full line up of bands to be announced….

Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Golf Classic

Thursday 27th June – K-Club Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort (Palmer Course)

Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Ball

Friday 28th June – K-Club Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort

This star studded black tie event takes place on Friday 28th June in the stunning surroundings of the K Club and raises funds for a well know local charity.
