Classics attract impressive list at second entry stage

Godolphin's Al Zir, Passion for Gold and Vale of York are among the second entries for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby taking place on 27th June and join other major contenders including Beethoven, Chabal, Cape Blanco, Jan Verbeer, Kingsfort, Steinbeck and European Champion St Nicholas Abbey.
The Henry Candy trained Beauchamp Yorker, Goffs Million winner Lucky General and Oasis Dancer trained by Ralph Beckett are among the second entries for the Irish 2000 Guineas, while The Dermot Weld trained Emulous, Gallic Star trained by Mick Channon, Tabassum trained by Sir Michael Stoute and Misheer trained by Clive Brittain have been entered for the Irish 1000 Guineas which takes place on 23rd May
The Ralph Beckett trained Ceilidh House and Desert Sage together with the Henry Cecil trained Timepiece are among the second entries for the Darley Irish Oaks which takes place on 18th July. Other entries for the Group 1 fillies Classic include Famous, Lillie Langtry, Termagant and Giants Play.
