The Curragh to stage 19 race days in 2010

A total of 19 race days will take place at the Curragh in 2010 with the season kicking off on Sunday 21st March and ending on Monday 11th October.  A new Friday evening meeting will take place on 4th June, while the Darley Irish Oaks weekend will take place a week later on 17th (evening) and 18th July to avoid a direct clash with the Leinster Football Final and Oxegen music festival.  The Phoenix Stakes will return to it's traditional early August slot.
