September 21, 2011

Admission to the Curragh races this Sunday 9th October will be free to celebrate the finale of the year thanks to the support of Hackett’s Bookmakers.

The Hackett’s Bookmakers Irish Cesarewitch, which is traditionally one of the most ultra competitive races of the year, will be the feature of a seven race programme starting at 2.15pm which will also include the Lanwades & Staffordstown Studs Stakes, Finale Stakes and Waterford Testimonial Stakes.

Irish Greyhound Derby winner Razldazl George will be a guest of honour when he makes an appearance during the afternoon. Trained only a few miles away from the racecourse by Dolores Ruth, he will be joined by his owner Liam Marks with the Irish Derby trophy.

The race day will also kick start the Go Racing in Kildare Festival Week with four exciting race days taking place at all three County Kildare tracks from the 9th to the 16th October.
