Grand Prize for Best Turned Out Horse in Tote Irish Lincolnshire at the Curragh
Tote Ireland today confirmed that the groom of the Best Turned Out horse at the Tote Irish Lincolnshire will receive a prize of a luxury hotel break for two people. Tote sponsor four historic Premier Handicaps taking place at the Curragh this year. The Irish Lincolnshire takes place on March 29th followed later in the season by the Tote Rockingham, Tote Irish Cambridgeshire and the Tote Irish Cesarewitch. The four Tote Premier Handicaps boast a total prize fund of €400,000.
The prize on offer includes a luxury two night break at the four star Plaza Hotel in Westport, Co Mayo staying in the ultra-luxurious Gold Experience Room. The lucky winner and his or her guest will enjoy buffet breakfast each morning; one evening’s fine dining at the Restaurant Merlot and full use of the leisure facilities in the adjoining C Club Leisure Club.
The Tote Irish Lincolnshire is the first in the series of Tote Premier Handicaps and the 74th renewal of the race will take place at the Curragh on March 29th, on the opening meeting of the 2015 Flat Season. 4. Tote Irish Cesarewitch will take place on 11th October 2015 at the Curragh. The race was first run in 1844 and this is its 171st renewal
