French target Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby

Eight horses have been added to the entries for the 150th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby following today’s second entry stage.

These include three trained in France including the Criquette Head trained three time winner Epicuris, unbeaten Francis Henri Graffard trained Sumbal and recent Prix Noailles winner Karaktar trained by Alain Royer Dupre who will attempt to give his owner HH The Aga Khan his 6th success in the Group 1 Classic.

Recent Dante Stakes runner up Jack Hobbs, Magic Dancer who was runner up in the Lingfield Derby Trial, Newmarket 1000 Guineas winner Legatissimo, Success Days trained by Ken Condon and the Jim Bolger trained Pleascach are other horses to join the total of 57 entries for Ireland’s premier Classic

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby takes place at the Curragh on Saturday 27th June and will celebrate it’s 150th running this year.
