Dermot Weld aiming for Dance Design Stakes success at Curragh this Sunday
Carla Bianca and Afternoon Sunlight give Dermot Weld a strong team in the featured Xtravision & HMV Supporting Irish Autism Action Dance Design Stakes taking place at the Curragh this Sunday 31st August. Alive Alive Oh, Palace and Odeliz trained in Britain by Karl Bourke are also among the 11 runners in the Group 3 contest. The race is named to honour Dance Design, who Weld trained to win three Group One races including the Darley Irish Oaks.
Shepherd’s Purse, successful on his debut at the Curragh last Sunday, together with War Envoy and Cappella Sansevero are among the seven runners in the Nestle Supporting Irish Autism Action Round Tower Stakes.
21 runners will line up in the ultra competitive Irish Stallion Farms Irish Cambridgeshire with total prize money of 100,000 euro, including Defining Year, Burn the Boats, Hasanour, Hint for a Tint and Bold Thady Quill, while there are two British trained contenders with Muharrer and Prime Exhibit.
