Curragh to stage China Race Day on Sun 10th June

China will come to the Curragh Racecourse on Sunday 10th June when the County Kildare venue will give their race day a major Chinese theme with the help of the Chinese Irish Cultural Academy.

The China Ireland Friendship Silver Stakes will be the feature race of a seven race program starting at2.20pmand the Chinese Ambassador toIrelandhas been invited to make the presentation to the connections of the winning horse of trophies provided by Newbridge Silverware following the race. Other races will be supported byKildareVillage and Red Mills.

Chinese citizens will gain free admission to encourage them to experience what promises to be a very exciting initiative.

A Chinese Village will be created beside the main enclosure of the racecourse which will be fun for all the family and will feature Chinese Food Tasting, demonstration of Chinese music and dance, the famous Dragon Dance which will be performed before the first race and a display of Chinese crafts
