Montefeltro looking to land Irish Cesarewitch for UK

Truthwillsetufree and Call Me Bubbles head the betting at 10/1
The Irish Cesarewitch takes place at the Curragh on Sunday with Boylesports installing the Brian Ellison trained Montefeltro as the 10/1 co-favourite alongside the Willie Mullins trained Call Me Bubbles and the Dermot Weld trained Truthwillsetufree.
Jessica Harrington’s horses are in tremendous form at present and she will be represented by Weather Watch who is currently available at 12/1 with Boylesports whilst Majenta and the Tony Martin trained Spacious Sky are also on offer at 12/1.

Aidan O’Brien last won the race in 2010 with Bright Horizon and he will be represented in this year’s renewal with three runners in the form of Marchese Marconi (14/1), Egyptian Warrior (20/1) and Victory Song (25/1).

Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports said “As suggested by the betting the Irish Cesarewitch is very competitive this year and we are unable to point out a clear standalone favourite.”

He added “Dermot Weld landed the race last year with Voleuse De Coeurs who recently landed the Irish St Leger. The Rosewell House based trainer will be hoping that one of his three runners might be able to follow in her footsteps.”
