It was great to see the number of runners increasing and we were especially delighted with the huge amount of children who took part. I would like to thank everyone who got involved to support our jockeys. I’d like to thank PC Racewear for supplying this year’s prizes and a special mention must go to all the volunteers who made the event possible – it was a real team effort.”

Dr Adrian McGoldrick, Turf Club Senior Medical Officer, commented: “There was a great turn out and fantastic atmosphere at the Curragh.
