2017 Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne and leading jockey Kate Harrington launch inaugural running of the Tipperary Crystal Rose Ladies Invitational Race

The 2017 Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne and leading jockey Kate Harrington launched the inaugural running of the Tipperary Crystal Rose Ladies Invitational Race which takes place at the Curragh this Sunday 27th August.
Kate will represent Ireland in the competitive contest which will also feature lady riders from six other European countries. These include:
Lea Olsen representing Denmark
Judit Dickinson representing Hungary
Carol Bartley representing Great Britain
Claudia Fleissner representing Germany
Marloes Mouthaan representing The Netherlands,
Tia Kirstine Hofossaeter representing Norway
The race day, which will be one of the first official events to be attended by the newly crowned Rose, will feature a high quality eight race programme with gates open at 12 noon and the first race off at 1.30pm and will also include the Search for the Rose of the Curragh – Best Dressed Competition which will be judged by the 2017 Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne and Karen Scanlan, Creative Director for Tipperary Crystal. Many of the other Rose of Tralee finalists are also expected to attend on the day. The prize bonanza includes a series of the Tipperary Crystal Fine jewellery ranges and a range of high quality products from the Tipperary Crystal Giftware and Homeware Collections.
